QatarEnergy is committed to the protection of the health and safety of its employees, contractors and members of the public, as well as the protection of its assets and the environment. This commitment is clearly stated in the QatarEnergy Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policy. However, the objective of doing no harm while conducting business cannot be achieved without the active involvement of Contractors, their employees, and their sub-contractors who carry out a large percentage of the work and are exposed to the associated HSE risks. Therefore QatarEnergy requires joint ventures and contractors working on behalf of the Corporation to demonstrate a similar commitment to HSE.
All work and activities carried out for and on behalf of QatarEnergy shall be in compliance with the provisions of the "QatarEnergy HSE Regulations for contractors" document, HSE requirements specific to the Contract in question, and all other applicable QatarEnergy HSE related policies, procedures, standards as well as State of Qatar Laws and regulations.
All prospective bidders, bidders participating in any QatarEnergy tender, as well as QatarEnergy contractors and sub-contractors are required to take note of the QatarEnergy Corporate Standard for Managing HSE in Contracts (dated March 3, 2024) attached here and the latest revisions thereof, and ensure compliance.
