As QatarEnergy progresses on its journey to become one of the best national energy companies in the world, we continue to deepen our commitment to conducting business in a responsible and principled manner. In 2019, our strong values were supported by the launch of our Code of Conduct and we are proud to see how the many important aspects of the Code have been adopted as part of our on-going operations.
In 2021, we continued our journey with the launch of a suite of policies that will further help guide our behaviour and enhance our great culture. With these policies, we welcome a new era at QatarEnergy; an era based on ethical leadership, sustainable business practices and operational excellence. We believe the publication of these documents will help to bring us closer to our vision and goals and tell the world what QatarEnergy stands for.

They build on our values and commitments and reinforce our ethical culture and business resilience by demonstrating our collective and individual commitments towards a principled and legally compliant way of working. World-class and world leading, the new suite of policies compliments the position of our organization. One that is uniquely Qatari - yet also internationally focused and ready to play a global leadership role.
Touching on all areas of our operations and business conduct, the policies are important to everyone at QatarEnergy and all those with whom we do business. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that they are easily accessible so that they can be incorporated in all our activities, decision-making and interactions with others. They provide a critical foundation of our commitments and expectations. Importantly, these policies also signify our commitment to transparency and reporting, both attributes that are equally important for a modern, global organization.

You will see that they cover and apply to all aspects of QatarEnergy's operations and align with the sections of our Code of Conduct in terms of Working Together (Our People), How We Do Business (Our Practices), Working with Others (Our Partners) and Living the Code (Speaking Up).
We expect our employees and network of business partners to adopt these standards of behaviour, either by accepting our policies (mandatory for all of our employees) or by creating and adopting ones of a similar nature (for our business partners). Likewise, we invite all our stakeholders to speak up if any infringement of our Code of Conduct or these policies is suspected.
