As part of QP Industrial cities commitment to establish a uniform permit to work system to control all work activities within the Industrial Cities common areas in MIC and RLC, a Consolidated Permit to Work (CPW) has been developed and implemented.
To streamline and simplify the CPW approval process, a comprehensive and easy to use risk based electronic Consolidated Permit to Work (e-CPW) system is made available and accessible via the internet.
The system combines various work activities into a single document authorizing the Operating Authority to perform permit specified work activities through their assigned Performing parties, in a safe, coordinated and consistent manner.
The system allows the users to raise, track and monitor their permit requests from the initial definition stage through to the issue of the permit. Prior to using the e-CPW system to apply for permits, the nominated person shall attend the mandatory training and pass a test.
